Super IRRITATED
It all started about 3 months ago. We asked them for a DVR and they told us they didn't have any in stock. Okay. Whatever. So they said they'd call when the did. Yeah, right. I finally called them (thanks for Betsy) to ask them about it. This was about 3 or 4 weeks ago. They got one all ordered up for me and it couldn't be here until the 29th of Sept. Yesterday. So good deal. We got it all scheduled up for yesterday between 12-4. (see previous post) Kyle had his doc appt yesterday so my awesome Dad came over to wait for the tech to come. The tech ended up calling and telling my Dad he was running 3 hours late and would be here about 5ish or so. I told my dad to leave and Drew rushed home to wait for him. The tech called back, talked to Drew and said he couldn't make it. (UGGGGG) Drew scheduled it for today between 12-4. No biggie. I was going to really call and complain because of that. Drew talked me out of it. I was still mad because I waited for 2 1/2 hours and then it was my Dad's time and and gas as well. This morning I took Lucy to preschool and came home and saw that there was a message from a tech from Direct TV. The message said that he could come out earlier. HURRAY! (just wait though) I called back and he said that someone took over his route so they'd be out shortly. I said my husband didn't know that I had a doc appt today when he scheduled and I either need to reschedule, or have the tech come out before 2:00 today. A man in the background said that we'll get someone over right away. No biggie. THEN-the tech called back and said that they couldn't do it. And that they didn't have the DVR in stock. What...excuse me??? What happend to the one that they ORDERED for me?? The one that they were suppose to bring yesterday???? There was a crotchity old lady in the background communicating between me and the tech and she said they couldn't "accomodate me at this time" WHAT?!?!?!?! So I asked him if there was a direct number to customer service I could call so I wouldn't be on hold for an hour to talk to someone. I had lots of complaints. I told him the story. I felt they they have given me the run around. They said they didn't have the MPG (or something like that) DVRs in. That is the upgraded one I guess...??? And they won't get them until October 20th. ???????? &%)*@&*$ I am soooo mad. Not only have they wasted my time. They wasted my Dad's time. My husband's time. And this was suppose to be taken care of 3 months ago. Then 2 months ago. Then a month ago. Then yesterday. When I called today to cancel the appointment if they couldn't be here by two, that is when they started in with the whole, "we dont' have the upgraded MPG DVRs you are suppose to get" So I feel like they've given me the run around because I "canceled" today. Uh...you were suppose to be here YESTERDAY. AND with my ORDERED DVR. Anyway, I'll call later this afternoon, I'm sure be on hold for an hour, and I'm sure I'll get some kind of compensation for it. I mean come on. I either better get another DVR for free, or I better get it for free and a credit to my account. This is ridiculous. Normally we love Direct TV. This sucks.

My Kids
Kyle had his 2 months well check appt today. He's a big boy. He's 13 lbs and 23" 75% for weight, and 29% for heighth. He better catch up on his heighth. I"m not too worried. Lucy did the same thing. Now, she's our bohemoth girl. Daddy and I are really mean. It's her nickname. We try not to say it too much around her. She is going to grow up and be bullemic or anorexoic or something. Ugggg. Anyway, Kyle is sleeping well and he goes about 6 hours or so on average. Sometimes it's 7 (ahhh heaven) and sometimes it's 3. He wakes up after his long span, eats and then goes back to sleep for about 3 more hours. Then wakes, eats and goes to sleep for another few hours. I love his tired cry. It's the cutest cry in the whole world. He got his immunizations today and he is not feeling so hot tonight. He's actually fussing right now so I better make this quick.
Lucy is doing great. She is a great big sister. Huge helper. She got her stitches out today. She was a very brave girl. It hurt her a little because the skin grew over. I was diligent about keeping them clean but the last few days, I was slacking. She only cried for a few minutes and forgave Dr. Godfrew pretty quick when I told her we would get a sucker at the end. I cannot believe she'll be 3. It's ridiculous. She has been really whiny lately. I don't know if it's due to an attention thing, or age thing. She cries really easy the last few weeks. She has become bossy also. She is used to getting bossed around but after Kyle, she realizes she is a big sister and can be a boss too. Her poor friends. She loves to read books and she can actually read a few words. She writes her name. Pretty legibly infact. We are working in the "y"
I count my thousands of blessings with my children. At the doc's office today, there were about 3 severely handicapp children that came in. There was a little girl who looked like she had half a brain because her head was kind of in half. Hard to explain. There was a super rambuncous boy who I thought was way too out of control, but obviously he had some learning and maturity issues. I am so thankful for healthy kids. I even grabbed Lucy's hand at one point and kind of squeezed her hand to thank the Lord that I have her. And I looked down at Kyle's head and saw that he had a full skull and he was sleeping soundly away. What we take for granted. I love my children so much and again, am so grateful they are healthy and happy.
Well, Kyle has had it in his crib. I'll bring him in our bed tonight so we all can get some sleep. Poor little boy. He just looks at him like "Why Mom, why?" He has that look on his face that he just is so sad. Breaks my heart.
Why Am I So Busy???
12-4. Yes, 4 hour spans. Don't get me started. It was suppose to be today....uggg. Anyway, I can't do it tomorrow because Lucy has preschool, then it's off to the doc for me. Then I have to go to the Vital Statistics place to get Lucy's and Kyle's birth certificates. And I know something is going on tomorrow night. OH yeah, I'm meeting with some Team Beachbody members to finally get my website set up and do the whole "official" coach thing. Thank goodness for my DVR coming because I won't even try to watch "my stories." Now, only if I can quadruple myself so I can one of me can sit here for the Direct TV guy, one can take Lucy to preschool and pick her up. One can go to the gyno for me. (and that wouldn't be me, just my copy ;)) And one can go to the records place. Maybe I'll copy myself 5 times. Then I can be the one to sit by my imaginary pool, drinking imaginary margaritas, watching my imaginary pool boy.
My house is a freakin' disaster. I swear I cannot keep on top of things lately. Maybe it's because I'm gone all day, doing some crazy errands and running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Yes, while I wait for the Direct TV guy, which won't be tomorrow, but sometime, I will plan on getting some things done. Laundry put away. Deep vacumming (still can't spell that girls). Washing my windows. Cleaning our bedroom. Cleaning our bathroom. But wait, Kyle is crying for a bottle. And the phone rings. And then Lucy wants attention. The one time I'm at home, able to play with my kids and especially give Lucy some time for her games, I have other things to do. I don't want Lucy growing up hearing the classic Mom lines. "Not now" or "In a minute" or "I'm watching, really I am" or "Maybe in a few minutes. Let me get this done first". I've said all those things to her at one time or another. However, the last few months since Kyle has been born, I have wanted to give her Lucy Time. So we play instead of me cleaning. Although, she helps me put the dishes away at times. She loves her dirt devil vaccuumm (however you spell it) and she walks right along the side of me with it while I vaccuumm. (:)) She actually likes to help clean. Is that fun? To her, yes. To me? No. So we play Dora Memory instead. Or we color and cut out paper. Which makes an ever bigger mess. And alas, I give up. I need about 2 days without kids (and sans husband) to get everything done that not only I want to do, but desperately need to do. For my sanity. For my husbands sanity. It really stinks that I can throw in our bed sheets in the morning, praising myself for getting something done, only to forget about them at 10:30 at night. Then deciding to make the bed using the old sheets that have a ginormous hole in them. Maybe we should invest in a couple more sheet sets. Christmas present anyone???
So is everyone else crazy busy? It probably won't slow down until after the new year. That is just how it is. Fall hits and you get slammed. It won't stop until after the holidays. Even then I am not sure anymore it will end. All I can say is thank goodness for great friends who keep me sane. :) Thanks for all the laughs. And all the help with making me ignore what I should really be doing at home and going to Gandolfos and Goodwill instead. :) :) :)

HOLY HORTON!!!
Like I said. I started with Beachbody 9 years ago with good 'ol Tony Horton kickin my butt. Never in my WILDEST dreams would I ever think I would meet him, let alone talk to him like an old friend, let alone WORK OUT WITH HIM. I am lucky enough to have a connection with a friend who started Team Beachbody in Idaho. So, lucky me! I got to go hang out with Valerie Waugaman who is "Siren" on American Gladiators (see previous post), and talk with Tony and get my butt kicked by him today in an amazing workout, and just hang out with a super awesome group of people from our team. It has been an incredible weekend. I cannot believe I just worked out with Tony Horton. I'm calling it Celebrity September. We met Jim Gaffigan, talked with the Biggest Loser couple, and now the Beachbody studs and stud-ettes. Alrighty, enough of this crazy, random, scattered post. Here are some pics!!!!
Here is Tammy, Betsy and me with Valerie "aka "Siren" This is our "nice" pose
Our "Gladiator, Kick Butt" pose.
So you are thinking to yourself, why on EARTH did I post a pic of Val's bum. Well, let me tell you why. I couldn't stop staring at it!! She is beautiful, but her butt, even more beautiful. I want her butt. On me ofcourse. So she is my inspiration. She gave a super awesome motivating speech today and she had some awesome ideas that I'm going to try. So yes, this is her butt, and yes, one day I will have one just like it. ;)
And here's "The Man" Tony was incredible. Super nice. Super funny. Super ripped back. It was funny to put my arm around him and feel the muscle bursting through his shirt. Everytime he turned it was like a new muscle popped out to say "Hello, I'm awesome"
So if you want to get in the BEST shape of your LIFE, email me, call me, come talk to me. No matter what level you are at. No matter your size, shape, or experience. Believe it or not, I know a lot about fitness. So, it's time I use my knowledge to good use and do it and show others how to do it. Not only am I getting the bod I want, I'm preventing every ailment that runs in my family. Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems. Even if I remain a size 8. and still am fit, that is all that matters. I want to be here for my kids. Be fit and healthy and play with them. I'm doing it for myself yes, but there is a grand scheme of things. I want my kids to be healthy and set an example to them as well. Have them workout with me. Have them have a mother who gets her bum off the couch, or computer and play with them and most importantly, have energy to play with them. Not watch them from the sidelines. I've done Slim in 6 for 3 weeks now, and I've already lost inches and my clothes fit better, and I have a gazillion times more energy than what I did. It is seriously amazing and I want you to feel amazing too. As soon as I get my website set up, I'll put a link on here with more info about becoming a coach and how to order Beachbody products. Here is to a Happy Fitness Day. :)

The Office- Southpark Style
I'm sooo excited. But I'm SOOOOOOO sad. I won't be able to watch it tonight. :(
Instead, I get to go hang out with this chica...
Yup-that is "Siren" from American Gladiators! I will miss The Office, but this is a once in lifetime chance to go literally hang out with her. She'll even be making her "Green Goddess" smoothie for us!

Crossing The Line

Just Incase
I could survive for 47 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor
Fall TV Lineup
So I'm addicted to TV. Well, and the computer, but TV comes in a close second. Actually, my addiction is going to be a better thing pretty soon. Working out. But that is a different story, and a different post.
My Fall TV lineup consists of this:
Biggest Loser
Love this show. It's SOOO inspiring. I love the girl and her dad. I believe it's the yellow team. You can just tell how much she loves her dad. I want them to get healthy and have her dad change his life so he's around for the next 30 years.
The OFFICE!!!!!!
Countdown! 4 more days!!! I'm sooooooooooo excited. When I first heard about The Office, I never watched it. Then one time, I saw about 10 minutes of an episode is season 2 or 3 and it was stupid I thought. I didn't know the story nor the characters, so it was pointless to watch. Then, my awesome friend Sara let me borrow all the seasons. Uh....addiction number 3 was born. If you have never seen it, or have thought it was dumb, please go rent the first few seasons and watch it from the beginning. Then let me know if you too are addicted. I guarantee you will be.
ER
It's the series finale. I can't believe it. So sad. I have been on and off with this show for the last what...9 years or so. I'm wondering how they will wrap everything up. Will Luka and Abbey get back together...??? Who will be knocked off in the first episode...??? How will they reintroduce the returning characters...?? And I miss Dr. Greene. Too bad he died.... I'm sooo excited they are bringing Carter back. I kind of have a thing for him. ;)
Here are some "weirdo" shows that I watch. Yeah, I'm weird. Imagine that!
Criss Angel Mindfreak
My husband will tell you that I have a crush on him. Not so much this season though. He needs to shave his beard off. Anyway, I think he's amazing. Sometimes I think he's posessed and quite possibly has sold his soul to the devil for some of the "tricks" he does. I know that there is a trick to everything he does, but he still is amazing. He pull of some of the most fascinating illusions. I still can't figure out how he levitates. I actually figured out one of his tricks the other night. I think he's awesome, so sue me if you think I'm a freak. A MINDFREAK that is.
Ghost Hunters
This show is awesome too. Not everything I believe ofcourse, but they have caught some hard evidence that we are not alone on this earth. I do believe in spirits and I believe that they are among us. I also believe that some people make things up, or have experiences that can easily be "debunked." That is why I love this show. Grant and Jason go in trying to debunk things at first. Most the time, they can come up with an explanation for things and why "supernatural" things are happening. But there are those few times they catch something. It gives me shivers.
Law & Order SVU
So excited for the new season. I don't like any of the other L&O's.
America's Got Talent
I haven't been religiously watching this show, but I want to see who takes the cake nonetheless.
Kath And Kim
I love Molly Shannon and this show looks freakin' halarious. O-V-U-R
Well, there it is. And there are actually some shows I want to watch, but I try not to watch THAT much TV. Ha ha. Good news is that I'm getting my DVR on Monday the 29th so I can record shows and fast forward the commercials. Cutting my "ignoring my children time" in half! And maybe pay attention to my husband as well. ;) ha ha. There are some shows I watch occasionally if I'm home. Samantha Who. Pushing Daisies is one I want to watch. Super Nanny. Wanna Bet is a new show that I find interesting.
Let me know which shows you watch, and which shows you recommend. Although, I don't need to add to my list. :)

Riddle Me This
The clerk gives the bellhop $5 (five one-dollar bills) to return to the brothers. On the way up to the room, the bellhop realizes that they can't divide 5 dollars evenly among three brothers, so he presents only a $3 refund to their $30 hotel room, and pockets the extra $2.
Now: Each brother has paid $10 and received a $1 refund. So they spent $9 (10-1) each on the room, or $27 (3x9) total, and the Bellhop kept $2 for a total of: $29!What happened to the extra dollar?

Jealous Linds?
Women's Fitness was awesome this year despite the rain. Yeah, it poured the entire time. And right when we got home, it's nice and sunny out. Go figure right? Renee-We missed you guys this year!!!!!!
What a bunch of hotties. This was after. So yeah, uh....we look pretty hot considering we walked a 5k and it was raining. :) And Audra, I hate to say this, but you totally look like you work at McDonalds with that hat and jacket and black pants. Her jacket is SUPER cute though. It is just a funny combo. K-don't be mad at me. :) I still love you. Even if you do work at Micky D's.
Lucy was miserable, but she was a trooper. We got up extra, EXTRA early and she didn't even complain. She was so excited about the "giraffe race." Why she was saying that I do not know. But when we got there, there was a stroller there that a lady had some felt giraffes on the side that was as big as the stroller. So thanks to her, I did not have a crying child who wanted the "giraffe race." When we got done, Lucy was like "I want the race. I want to race. I want the giraffe race." So I so lovingly told her we already raced and we beat that giraffe. :) And yes, we are wearing trash bags. I'm so thankful they were handing them out. I ended up putting Lucy IN the bag and her arms through. At the after party, we didn't stay long because she was pretty much spent. As I think, we all were.
Jim Gaffigan Pic As Promised
We went for Sarah's birthday like I had mentioned in a previous post. Well, here is a beauty pic of Sarah. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! It was an awesome night. THANKS AGAIN!!

My Exciting Day
Oh, and to top it all off...I washed my hands at the hospital and my hands STILL smell like that dreaded hospital soap. I do not like the smell of it. It's sickening. It doesn't smell bad, but you all know what I'm talking about. That sanitary, hospital smell. I hate that smell.
