Here are some current kiddo pics just for fun.
Kyle is one of the happiest kids I know. I'm not biased at all (lol) but he really is a super good baby. He's been an awesome addition to our family and I'm soooo in love with this kid.
Here is my daughters seriously awesome fashion sense. She loves to get herself dressed and play dress up. She changes about 5 times a day. Which also leads to the laundry issue. However, she is sooooo funny. She's been into making up stories lately and playing make believe and she comes up with some pretty crazy things. She is in a whiny stage and has been a bit of a cry baby lately. She has just been ultra senstitive the last few weeks. I'm not sure why. If it's a normal stage or just a Lucy stage. It especially happens when she's tired or hungry. I guess that is pretty normal for a kid to be grumpy with hunger pains or exhaustion. :) I'm trying to get her back into naps. Or at least call it quiet time and hopefully have her fall asleep for an hour at least. The problem is she gets up late in the morning, then falls asleep around 6 if we are driving somewhere, and then goes to bed late, only to repeat the vicious cycle. So I need to try to get in an hour of quiet time from now on everyday. I was loving how she didn't have to take naps because I didn't have to worry about being home for her nap and I could not be on a "schedule" for naps etc. But I definitely think it's contributing to her grumpiness. We'll get it one day. :)

Can I Get A What What
Hollahhh!!!!!
Yeah, check this out baby.
See the vent? Ofcourse you can. It's because there is nothing covering it. That was no where to be found a few days ago. It was under about 6 loads of clean laundry to be put away. I'm so proud to say that, I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Drew was out of town this last week/weekend so Pyper got down to business. For some reason, I was a way better housekeeper and mother/wife when Drew was gone. :) I cooked, I cleaned, I conquered. Maybe it's because I kept the house up instead of making a mad dash on Saturday an hour before he was due to be home. I wanted him to come home to a clean house, and more importantly come home to a clean laundry room. He even said "I was wondering if I was in the right house." Sad....very sad. I am actually a good housekeeper. I claim my house never to be dirty. Just messy. Kid mess. My bathrooms get done on a regular basis and my kitchen pretty much stays clean. I hope no one will comment on how that is NOT true. :) But I will just keep telling myself this. I actually like to clean. How sad is that?! I blame my mother. I like doing bathrooms more than anything else. (I hate cleaning the bathtub though). I'm an odd duck I guess. However, there has been many occasions of someone dropping by and my embarrassed look as there are about 1,000 toys in the living room and enough dog hair on the couch to make a couple of new dogs. Oh, and my daughter is obsessed with scissors and cutting incredibly small and thin bits of paper up. Hence, part of the kids mess.
So anyway, it was an exciting week of getting things done. Now only if I can get my Christmas stuff up. Let's see...10 days until Christmas. Shopping to do still. Maybe I'll skip the majority of the decor this year. Eh.....

My Hubster
My friend Laura tagged me. I love doing husband tags because it's a good reminder to why I married him. :) ha ha
My Husband
1-Where did I meet my husband? Ha ha. Do I have to tell? I met him at church. Uh...he was uh...my Sunday school teacher. Yeah, we are 7 years 11 months apart. :) Everyone in the class was like "You're totally going to marry him." I kind of knew back then. Weird.
2- How long did you date before getting married? We dated about a year. Then he proposed and we were engaged a WHOPPING 6 months. I know. Crazy compared to the regular LDS engagement. I wanted a Summer wedding though. He had to go and propose in January. It was his fault.
3-How long have we been married? 6 1/2 years.
4- What does he do that surprises you? Nothing. lol He is a self proclaimed non-romantic/spontaneous person. Although it's all the little things he does. Like I'll come home and all the dishes will be done and kitchen cleaned etc. I'd take that over flowers. :)
5- What is your favorite feature of his? His smile. Totally.
6- What is his best quality? Everyone loves him. I don't know anyone who has anything bad to say about him and he's just REAL. He'll tell you how it is no matter how embarrassed I get from that. :) He has said some doozies in front of the missionaries. lol But that is just him. He's not shy not to act himself.
7-Does he have a nickname for you? P-Dawg. Although that is more Quinner's doing. But that is what he calls me. Or Babe. Hopefully not the pig.
8- What is his favorite food? Halibit. Or McDonalds. Flank steak.
9- What is his favorite sport? Probably golf or basketball. Flag football. I don't know. It depends on the time of year. I know it's NOT soccer. (loser)
10- When did you first kiss? HAA HA This is a funny story actually. It was ofcourse, our first/second date. (funny story about that too. But it was technially our second date). He walked me to the door and I freaked out. It was just weird to think that I'd be kissing Drew Ditts... So it took awhile for me to stop giggling. :)
11- What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Go out to eat. Or to a movie.
12- Do you have any children? Two! Lucy and Kyle.
13- Does he have any hidden talents? Umm...I'd have to think about that one.
14- How old is he? 34.
15- What is his favorite music? 80's.
16- What do you admire about him? He doesn't hold grudges.
17- What's his favorite color? Blue?
18- Will he read this? I'll make him. ;)
19- Who said "I love you first"? He did. He remembers it. I don't. I suck.
20- Who do I tag??? Steph B, January, Hollie, Terrilynn. :)

Frozen People
Lucy cracks me up everyday as I've mentioned before. We were just playing with her Little People Christmas set. She has a little Santa Claus she just brought to me. I was ofcourse trying to play and was like "Oh, hi Santa!" and she so brilliantly said, "No..Mom. No. They don't talk. Little People don't talk because they are frozen." I just thought it was so funny. She just proceeded to tell me that Santa has a big fat belly. "Like you Mom." *sigh*
Laundry...My Nemisis
Why do I hate laundry so much? Is it the folding...the hanging....the clean smell? Okay, it's not the clean smell. However, I do hate laundry with a passion. No, I don't hate it, I loathe it. It's not the doing it, it's the putting it away. My laundry room currently has about 5 loads to put away. I get caught up, then I think I won't do another load until the load in the dryer is put away. And then I'll say, "Oh, I can just do it tomorrow." Tomorrow turns into the next day and the next day etc. until I just become overwhelmed and we live out of our laundry room when we need to get changed/dressed. My daughter comes to me in the morning to get dressed and she unfortunatly knows to go to the laundry room. There was one time where I was actually caught up and she was yelling at the top of her lungs in the laundry room. Why? She was frustrated she couldn't find her clothes. Love that.
So if any of you have any brilliant tips to getting my laundry done in a timely manner, please share.
PS I actually got up this morning and picked up my house and put some things away. But I sit here now, wasting away time on the stupid computer instead of folding and putting away clean clothes. Everytime I walk by the laundry room, I hesitate. Thinking I'll start, but then I just scrunch up my nose in disgust and hurry on by, ignorning the mountainous pile. It reminds me of Pee Wee's Big Adventure. When he's saving the animals in the pet store and he keeps walking by the snakes with that look on his face. The look of REALLY not wanting to. That is the look on my face everytime I walk by my laundry room. :)

Fah who for-aze! Fah who dor-aze!
Welcome Christmas, come this way!!
K-if you don't know where that is from, you are a GRINCH. Get it...anyway. I LOVE Christmas. Almost as much as I love Halloween. There is a spirit in the air and I love the music and the smells and giving. I really do love to give rather than recieve, however, my list is quite long this year. Good thing we make TONS of money so I can get all the things I want right?! Now who is the Grinch? Just kidding. I'm going to ask Santa for a panini grill, some indoor soccer shoes, a SIZE 5 soccer ball. (I had to cap that for Santa. I have a size 3. Uh...we play with size 5 dude), and a good vaccumm (help me again Morgs :)) I know what Santa is getting Drew and the kids. However, Santa has not gone shopping at all yet. His little Elf's haven't started making the toys for the kids and he's going to be heading out right on the deadline and cut it awfully close to the eve of Christmas. (that is when Santa get's paid). So it's going to be an interesting holiday. We have yet to put up our tree. We get a real tree every year. I love it! Nothing beats the smell. And if you wait about 3 days before Christmas, you get a really good deal. Well, hopefully this year we will be more on the ball. I need to put away my pumpkins and leaves and then it's out with the Christmas decor. When I'm done, it's going to look like Jolly 'Ol Saint Nick threw up in my house. So fah who for-aze fah who dor-aze indeed.
I got this super cute tag from a friend's blog. (thanks Steph) I totally ripped it off because I wasn't "tagged" persay. So here it is. Feel free to rip it off as well. It's a fun little questionaire.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? BOTH! Depends who it is to.
2. Real tree or artificial? Real all the way
3. When do you put up the tree? Uh...see previous script. About 3 days before Christmas. Just kidding. Right after Thanksgiving usually. That weekend. We are crack-a-slackin' this year. And it's a LAW to not put up your tree until Thanksgiving is OVER people. :)
4. When do you take the tree down? Around New Year's Day
5. Do you like Eggnog? Quite the fattening little drink. I do like it sometimes. I have to be in the mood for it. Drew loves it.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Probably my rollar blades or my Grape Escape game.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Drew's dad.
8. Easiest person to buy for? Kyle :)
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yeah, somewhere. I think it's a pretty piddily one.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail for sure. However, due to budget cuts, we are foregoing sending this year. Sorry. E-cards it will be if I get around to it. Don't feel bad if you don't get a card.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Ummmm Drew is going to laugh. My tennis racket. Why you ask?? Because Drew gave it to me the first Christmas (6 years ago) after we were married and it's still not strung. My fault really because I could just go get it strung, but I just haven't ever.
12. Favorite Christmas movie? A Christmas Story DUHHH! Just kidding. Probably
Love Actually or Just Friends. Or any of the old classic cheesy animated with clay ones.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Umm...December 20th or so.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Ofcourse!
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Sara's peppermint cookies things that she refuses to give out the recipe. :) I'm not sure if she's still keeping it to herself, but she made it up pretty much and needs to take it to some place for a contest so she can win a million dollars. It's THAT yummy. I also get highly addicted to Reindeer Crunch.
16. Lights on the tree? Yuppers. Who doesn't put lights on their tree?? Weird question.
17. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night and Mary Did You Know.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home. It would be different if we lived away from our families but we are both Boise natives (well, in a sense).
19. Can you name all Santa's reindeer? Yup. Ofcourse with the song. I use to think it was Donder instead of Donner, and Cupit instead of Cupid when I was a wee little tyke. Who came up with all those silly names anyway?
20. Angel on the tree top or Star? Star
21. Open presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning. Like most fams, we open jammies on Christmas Eve. Well the kids do.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Rude people.
23. Favorite ornament? I'm not sure I have one. When I put up my tree, I'll let you know.
24. Favorite Christmas dinner? Ham and all that yumminess of the usual feast.
25. Favorite Christmas cocktail? My new love is Wassil. Gma Jan made it and it was DELISH!
26. What do you want for Christmas this year? Again, see previous script. I want indoor soccer shoes, a vacccummmmm (ha ha Morgs, hey that is like three shout outs!), and a panini grill. OH, and a million dollars.
27. What don't you want for Christmas this year? Coal.
28. What is something you have never done that you want to do for Christmas? Go to Hawaii. I agree Steph.
29. Who is the most likely to respond to this? I'm guessing EVERYONE because it's way cool.
30. Who is least likely to respond? Umm..see above. Everyone will respond to this dangit.
So that's it. Pretty fun eh? Now get going with your answers.

Random Updates
Looks like it's been awhile since I've posted anything. There really isn't anything too new. Besides Kyle rolling around like crazy. He rolls from his back to front on both sides. He rolls over and then gets mad because he doesn't like tummy time. Hence the reason why he rolled from his back to front first. He's hardly on his tummy because he cries after about 3 minutes. Oh well. He'll learn right? :)
Kyle had his 4 month check up. I've got huge kids. :) Lucy is in the 90th percentiles for her height and weight. Dr. Dr. Godfrey says her weight is prefect and in proportion for her height. So she DOES NOT have a big butt. :) Long story. The only bad thing is that we have to get her a new carseat. One that goes to 65lbs for the harness. I believe it's 4 before they can be in a high back booster and I'm a paranoid freak when it comes to carseat stuff so we'll probably be getting another one. Any recommendations? We've looked at a few. I want a Britax again, but it's not quite in the budget. So we'll probably get the Graco Nautilius. (sp?) Kyle is a big boy as well, but that was no secret. First thing anyone says is "What a chunk. Looks at those cheeks!" Which at times bothers me because IT DOES NOT MEAN that my child is predestined to be a fatty when he grows up. What people say is so tactless and rude. I swear. Anyway, he was about 50-something in the percentiles for his height and 90-something for his weight. Yeah, okay, so he's fat. :) He is healthy as can be. Except he's super grumpy today. He had shots yesterday and I can just tell he doesn't feel like himself today. He's being fussy right now and being the great mom that I am, I'm totally ignoring him and blogging. :)
I guess the biggest thing I want to talk about right now is TV. Biggest Loser!!! HELLO!!!?!?!? Did Pyper cry at it last night...um YEAH! I'm pathetic I know. How much do I hate Vicky? A lot. She soooo annoys me and I was so glad that she looked like crap after the makeover. I hated her red hair. It looked awful. But the main reason why it looked awful was because her face on Tyra was white. What....???? Why was her makeup so ugly? These people are suppose to be professionals. She was not made over for the good. She's definitely looked better. I think Heba's reaction to her brother got to me the most. It was so sweet and I loved how he said he'd take her anywhere if she lost 60 lbs. I really like Michelle. I'm rooting for her. She is beautiful! I won't put any spoilers in just incase someone DVRed it and hasn't watched it yet. But I can say....GO MICHELLE!!! Obviously she didn't get sent home. Also, Jullian has inspired me a little bit. When I'm working out, I imagine her saying things to me. Like "Come on. No crying. Don't be a baby. Push harder. I don't care if it hurts. PUSH IT" etc etc. It works. :)
Hmmm what else...Pampered Chef is going well. I LOVE IT!!! I am so motivated because each new month and even week there are prizes and things you can earn. I don't have any parties in December and I want to get a catalog show in before the19th. So if any of you are up to hosting a catalog show and earn some free stuff, let me know!!!! I'll even throw in a free something for you. I don't know what yet, but something good. :) I want to try to get 4 parties in before th 19th because I get some bonuses. You'd help me out a million times! I know...shameless....
;)
I admit I'm a blog stalker. :) Usually I don't spend too much time on my blog or looking at other people's blogs, but I've found so many people I've known on other people's blogs that I just can't help myself. I hope nobody gets mad, but hey, why have a public blog if you don't intend for people to look. I found a whole lot of people I went to high school with off my friend Joleen's blog. :) Thanks girl. Ha ha. And people off their blogs etc etc. I'm a little embarrassed, but I admit it. I'm just curious to see what happened to people. What they are doing in their lives. Their kids. If they are still married. If they are still living in the area. I'm just having too much fun today when I should be dusting and vaccumming (Morgs, help me out. I STILL don't know how to spell that! UGGG)
Well, I better write this so it holds me accountable. I keep saying I'm gonna do it, but it hasn't happened yet. I still want to get certified to teach step!! There. I said it. Now, DO IT PYPER. I swear, I have so many things that I want to do and I just do a little bit of it then stop. Why? I have no clue. I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I hope this doesn't sound braggy, but I'm usually good at everything I try. Notice I say GOOD, not GREAT. So I've been doing certain things to gear up to teach step and then I'll go what...about 10 months doing nothing. Okay, okay, blame it on the babies. I've stopped doing step twice because of pregnancies. I really want to teach. I'd love to. I'd love to get paid for working out. Ya'll remember my beachbody.com post about becoming a coach right? I totally wanted to do that because I believe in beachbody but I couldn't afford it at the time. Well, it's still that time. ha ha So if I can get my butt in gear and since RENEE is moving back she can get me going again too. You know you want to help me Renee. I know it was sooooooooo much fun before for you. You know that you'd love to take me under your wing and teach me everything you know. Okay, I'm just begging now. So there. There is my post about becoming an aerobics instructor. So, hold me accountable for it. My goal is in a year to be able to teach. We'll see a year. Just remind me. :)
Ummmm I think that is about it for now. I figure it's taken me all day to write this stupid post because I keep getting distracted and coming back to it. So if it seems really random and incoherent, that's why. So long for now. I'll try to come up with more exciting stuff next time.
